Situated between the V&A Waterfront and Signal Hill, Green Point is the focal point of Cape Town´s 2010 FIFA World Cup developments. The new stadium is in the process of being built in a fabulous location between the mountain and the sea. The area is a buzz with over 15 cranes and numerous workman building the incredible new stadium. We look forward to hosting the best soccer world cup ever.

Green Point is the home to much of Cape Town's gay scene. Green Point Main Road has some of the best gay clubs, bars, cabaret venues and restaurants.

The De Waterkant shopping area is a collection of specialist up-market shops and trendy restaurants including the excellent Cape Quarter. Green Point also has a number of theatres, lodges, hotels and bed and breakfast establishments.
